“We got lucky with beautiful weather and great drivers both days. Richard was wonderful-we learned a lot about Ireland, we laughed and enjoyed the day. Michael was entertaining as well and made sure we were timely and understanding everything he said. My only issue was that our Bed and Breakfast in Cork was not accommodating to the warm weather so our room was very hot at night. We barely slept. A fan would have been nice!”

“The rail tour was amazing and gave us a better look at what Ireland has to offer. At first, we were unsure of where the meeting place would be, but the information emailed to us was detailed enough that we were able to find our tour group easily at the Dublin Heuston Station. We didn't realize until half way of the tour that we were all mixed together for example, groups that booked a one-day tour but included parts of Cork would be with a multi-day tour that included Cork, Blarney, etc. So it is important to pay attention to who your guide is. Bob, our tour guide, was amazing.…”

“Itinerary changed without any notice. Our group was clubbed with another group that was on a three day trip! We were supposed to visit Killarney national park on the second day but because the group we were with had already visited it on the first day of their trip, we couldn't. Our accommodation was great, we were a group of 7 and they didn't have enough hostel beds to house us, so think we got an upgrade. But there were others who got the short end of the stick. “This is the best way to see this beautiful country! We started the tour with Norman, who was truly the best introduction to the Irish railway system. You could see immediately how passionate he is about his job and the culture. Then, our tour guide in Kerry, John, was both knowledgable and thoughtful. Both Norman and John made us feel safe and provided detailed information about our trip. Our only suggestion for travelers is to pack light. While the accommodation in Killarney was excellent, you may not have much room on the bus/train.”

“The second day is poorly planned, as you spend almost the entire day on a coach and when you arrive at the monastery there is not enough time to see the monastery and the gardens and eat. On the other hand, the guide is the coach driver himself and spends the entire trip without stopping talking, which in addition to being very tiresome is a danger.”
